Who We Are

Dorado is a funk rock trio based in Portland, Oregon. This website is our band's home on the web — a place to share our music, shows, and updates.

What We Collect

Our website (doradosound.com) does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools to collect visitor data. We do not track your browsing behavior.

In connection with our internal content management tool, Hal, we collect and store the following data solely for the purpose of managing our own social media accounts:

- OAuth authentication tokens for our TikTok and Instagram accounts
- Video files and metadata (titles, captions, hashtags) uploaded for publishing to our social media accounts
- Engagement analytics from our own social media accounts (follower counts, views, likes, comments, shares)

This data pertains exclusively to our own band accounts. We do not collect, store, or process personal data from website visitors or fans through this tool.

How We Store Data

All data collected by Hal is stored locally on a private server secured behind a VPN (Tailscale). This server is not publicly accessible. Access is restricted to authorized band members.

Sharing and Selling of Data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any data with third parties. Period.

The only external services our tool connects to are the TikTok and Instagram APIs, solely for the purpose of publishing content to and retrieving analytics from our own accounts.

Third-Party Platforms

Our website may contain links to third-party platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Spotify, etc.). Those platforms have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we'll post the revised version here with an updated date. Given that we're a small band and not a data company, changes will be infrequent.
